So a terribly disappointing year with an upset of Maryland gets him another year? Might as well start looking for your new coach now, because they got less coming back than NU. Delaying the inevitable.I think Miles earned another year with their final surge which should put them back in the NIT. Note to Chris Collins: The Huskers went to a zone defense with length around the perimeter a la Syracuse. It was pretty effective. CCC did that against Minnesota last year at the Horizon and it worked. Don't know why we didn't see some of it this year, especially vs. Minnesota.
Not sure how much he had to work with, which I know speaks to recruiting. He seems like one of the good guys in the profession; I'd like to see him back.So a terribly disappointing year with an upset of Maryland gets him another year? Not disagreeing, just think his days are numbered. Not sure how much he had to work with, which I know speaks to recruiting. He seems like one of the good guys in the profession; I'd like to see him back.
For the most part, our D was not the problem. And when you go zone, you weaken rebounding. O was the problem and putting in a zone D was unlikely to help thatI think Miles earned another year with their final surge which should put them back in the NIT.
