Wow.. what a missed offensive pass interference call by the refs. WSP received pull down Murphy defender by shoulder pads and he walked in for TD. Murphy up 30-18 halftime
WSP does this to every team they've played...well except East Surry and Mt.Airy this year. WSP has athletes.
Yes. Dang. Bears beat Prep 50-20 and ES beat them 49-6. Each could of been much worse.

Wow looks like if WSP had a defense with a pulse they would’ve won. Crazy what happens when a team with some speed pulls up on a mountain team!!
Murphy was faster than East Surry in '08 and '17, please stop acting like your program is some yearly loaded with athletes program, it isn't. Murphy is down in the speed department at the moment, same as a Starmount, but 'Dogs have definitely had some fast teams over the years.
With open enrollment in Forsyth prep could end up dominating 1A within 10 years if they recruit right just like their basketball team.
Please stop acting like speed from the Piedmont isn’t your kryptonite. The bears ran all around that ‘17 murphy team with superior speed!!
Not in this case but those STONEWALL mountain defenses can be exposed.
It wasn't the kryptonite against Albemarle in 2011, 2012 and 2013, Mountain Island in '16, North Stanly in '17 and all those athletic eastern teams Murphy's played in the last decade.
Mount Airy took care of Murphy that year, no disputing that, but they did it with a WR who is probably going to play in the NFL and a college RB. If you dont think Murphy has played and beat fast teams (yes, ones faster overall than Mount Airy was in '17) you're an idiot.

2017 Murphy wasn't anywhere near as strong as 2016 or 18. And yet they still made it to the 4th round, and beat that cardinal ***.
