I don't. I think this team will be dramatically better than last year. Improved OL, Doege has a year under his belt, etc.
Does Neal have a history of running up the score? I honestly don’t know. I’m betting we have the second team getting reps in the 3rd.
I understand what you mean. We're playing EKU, a team that got crushed by Marshall, and I could see us playing flat because they're focused instead on the B12 schedule.
Take the Mountaineers at 40.5 and they'll win by 41. Bet the flip of that, they'll win by 40. It's like they know.... they know....
I never wager on high point spreads like this.
Granted, WVU could name the score and cover the spread, if they wanted to do so. Therefore, it's a foolish bet when you're basically betting against whether or not the HC will run up the score, as well as betting against how well the 2nd team players perform.
If WVU has a strong offensive line, then the QB will have plenty of time to find open receivers, particularly down field. I still wouldn't bet on the game though, but if I was forced one way or the other, I would give the points.

Agreed 1000000%. I've only ever bet on them three times. All bowl games and all losses. Never again.
the stumbling herd curb stomped them Saturday......I don't think coach will show OK State anything...if we score 45 I'll be surprised....look for LOTS of people to play ...my guess is 38-10.....and then the marshla fans will claim victory

The HC has to let the first team play long enough to make sure they are firing on all cylinders and ready for Ok State in two weeks.
Hard to tell about the spread since wvu will only play guys approved by the equity ethics snd social justice oversight committee.
