Baylor showing what you can do when you place offense above defense. We will never recruit great offensive players when the coaching emphasis is on maximizing defensive play. Yes defese is important, but not more important than offense. You can have the best defense in America, but if you struggle to score you won't win many games. Baylor puts 4-5 players on the court who can score and we have only one tonight.

A good young coach would blow Huggs away here at WVU. Huggs needs to retire. He’s not the answer in the modern day of college basketball. Outside of Jevon Carter he has recruited no real good big time guard the last 7-8 years. That’s pathetic. Knapper has been screwed over. Huggs has destroyed his confidence. He’s actually a kid that can help if Huggs would build him up. Knapper can score.

He puts Knapper in, he misses a shot. He then quickly puts Doomes in. He misses a shot. He’s out. This is rediculous and hard to watch. What coach substitutes like that? He is so out of touch and stubborn, over the hill it’s sad to watch. Sweet 16 is his ceiling if he’s fortunate on a given year. Every 4 years we don’t make NCAA tourney. That’s terrible. It’s I will fix it every 4-5 years. Belien was much better and more consistent.

Knapper showed tonight that he needs to play over Harler and McCabe. The turnovers he has had trouble with will get fixed by next year with experience and maturity, reps. He’s only a freshmen. He can score and spark us but Huggs destroyed his confidence.

Knapper has more speed, quickness, athletic ability and higher potential than McCabe. He needs to play. You can’t teach that stuff. McCabe is just too outmatched, slow, small at this level. Knapper needs to play more. He showed it tonight. It’s obvious. Everybody on this team turns ball over but with experience that will get better with these guys next year. They will get older, smarter, better.
