We are definitely looking overrated. We didnt look good in almost any way the entire game. The only reason we were leading a while is because they started the game cold shooting. We were lost and looked like we had no hint of direction. McCabe looked like the towel boy. Esa looked like he wouldn't crack the starting lineup at Fairmont State. Knapper was timid all game. No defense, no backcourt, non-effective press. We are not a top 25 team without Carter and Miles. We could grow into one, but we have a very long way to go after that turd sandwich. 0-1 baby! Pffft.

For once I actually agree with you.
This wasn’t just a bad night. This looks like a team that lacks enough skill. I hope that’s wrong. But we look unathletic, slow and lack shooters. Haley does not seem to be what we were told. West, Harris and Ahmad by now are experienced players- but all 3 are an enigma. Still really Inconsistent this far into their career. I know the kids work hard and I want to see them succeed. Team just looks well behind where they were hyped to be.

Some of y'all are bipolar...

WV is still a good to great team.
They are inexperienced at the key positions. Buffalo on the other hand had senior guards who made the right decision.
The guards have the ball the majority of the time so their decision making skills need to be the best on the court.
I only watched the second half but I think when Bolden went out the game changed .
He was the only one making plays offensively.

Think by March WV will be a quality tram and will make another Sweet 16 run.

What cost us the game was we had nobody that could match up with C. Massinburg. Buffalo made 11 3's and C. Massinburg hit 9 of those. He was also 10-12 from FT and had 14 rebounds with 3 assist. Nobody on the team could guard him, or didn't want to guard him.

Who was the idiot on this board who was touting this as a Final Four team?

This team is not good. Not good at all. Major problems everywhere. Doesn't rebound, doesn't play defense, fouls too much, can't press, can't make free throws, point guards can't handle the ball or pass, no go-to guy.

It wasn't really that good last year either. We haven't seen a Final Four caliber team in 9 years.
