Were probably going to miss the first 10 mins, WSU MSU game is going to be tight down the stretch on top of already running late

This will be the story of this team this year .... how will they react when they can't tilt the floor in their direction.
Temple is actually making us play a half-court game ... and we are failing miserably.

Win or lose this is a good game for our guys.

I lost my TV coverage for some reason. Looking at the score on my phone looks like we aren't stopping them defensively either. Last I saw it was 38-20.

If we don't comeback in the 2nd half and at least make this competitive then this team is not doing anything this year outside of maybe an NCAA bid

The thing that is most disappointing is that this team is playing a like a team that hasn't learned a lesson from it's last two NCAA exits.

Will they finally figure it out?

There's no lesson to learn. Since we've gone to Press Virginia, if we face a team that can handle it, we lose and lose badly most of the time. We have no Plan B and likely never will for those situations. We'd rather stick with what we're good at doing. That's why I'd be thrilled for us to get to the Big XII title game and Sweet Sixteen in NCAAs.

Just for the record..... Temple is one of those teams I always keep at least half and eye on. John Chaney was a great character and a great coach, and Fran Dunphy is a great coach and a class act. Against any other opponent I'm pulling for Temple.

Second half will be very interesting.

First thing I think of is how certain teams provide bad matchups for other teams. You see it all the time.

Second thing is how quickly people throw their hands up and and quit on the team after a bad game.

Here's the deal. Yes, WV will learn something from this game and possibly improve. Hail, so will Temple. All teams learn and possibly improve game to game. WV ain't got the patent on this type thing. By the way..............when is Huggins gonna put in the 1st team?

Personally, I'm wondering how the New Hampshire team I watched WVU destroy beat Temple. That's more amazing than our play thus far.

WV played a courageous game against Temple and had the chance to win after being down by 20 at half. I look for a great year from this team. Warez

As I wrote after the trampling of Illinois, free throw shooting is WVU’s Achilles heel. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that.

Temple made 21 of 24 and WVU made 11 of 18. More to the point, Temple missed 3 of 24 and WVU missed 7 of 18. That percentage is about WVU's season average so far, too, so it's a pattern.

I was proud of the way that WVU wiped out a 20-point deficit and had the Owls’ tongues hanging out from exhaustion.

But free throws become critical down the stretch with the game on the line.

Plenty of time for Huggins to work on it. It’s still November and March Madness is a long ways off.

Huggins has failed to let his team in on a secret. (Points scored offen free throws count). Why am I whispering this fact? Huggins needs to clue his team in!
