It's not like football. Freshmen come in ready to play all of the time.
Not sure what this means? Freshman, besides Johnson, looked gassed and made some bonehead mistakes. Even Upperclassman Eugene did.

Think of it this way, you say freshman are ready to play in football. Out of the 22 starters (offense and defense combined) how many were freshman?
On many nights three of our five starters wereFreshman.
4 freshman were in our top 8 rotation.

Sorry that is a lot to ask of them.
Did they gain valuable experience? Absolutely.
Will we be a better team because of this? Absolutley!

He didn’t say freshman are ready to play in football. He said the opposite .
Freshman are ready to play in basketball . These freshman led teams make deep tournament runs all the time. So that we are playing freshman is no excuse.

There are too many people complaining way too much. I wanted us to win tonight and am very disappointed but we kept turning the ball over and we lost. I didn't want to end the season with 3 straight losses but it happened. We didn't value the ball enough and we fouled way too much. We put the balls away and rest a few days and than start thinking about next season. I think we will be fine if everyone stays and we add Mulcahy and Young and two other scholarship players that can rebound and hit outside shots. Many on here didn't expect us to win more than a game or two in league and we won 7 of them. I think things are going in the right direction. For once I agree with GRF.

At least we did not go 0-31. Let's celebrate. Participation trophies for everyone!
Or just a crazy thought....how about stop overreacting. Dissect the wins this year. Seven Big Ten. We played light years better this year than the last two years. More importantly we are building for the future. We lose Shaq, but gain at least Mulchey and Young.

If anything not late at all. Ever hear of freshman legs being tired? What about first Big Ten tourney? Never said Kiss was good until late in the season. Pretty sure everyone can agree with that

and Nebraska isnt tired?

Better than 7-25 in 2016!!!

The team got lots of experience, so looking forward to a step up next year!!!!!!!

This trend is misleading, the strength of schedule this year was waaay harder than the last two.

The last three games were disappointing, but even including them this was the best Rutgers team in a long time (yes that is a sad thing to say).

Anyone who expected more out of the season as a whole is insane.

I have been waiting 28 years for a NCAA bid. The process needs fine tuning.
It's understandable to feel that way. Many of us fans have been waiting for a long time. But Pikiell's only been here three years, and most key players on the team only one or two. They had nothing to do with 25 of those years. We shouldn't burden them with that. It doesn't help.
