I would say so and it sucks balls too! English is THE REAL DEAL! Never heard of this kid we just got but looks exactly like another Chris Lewis type to me. Shoulda been a hard pass imo but o hope he proves me wrong.

Official visit I think this weekend then SC the next. Looks like he is #3 on their list. Wilcox would be 1 and Cornist 2. I'd say they would take a commitment unless they know they're getting Wilcox

Dane Key might be in the 10 hands of WR in SEC football today. Not to mention he has a pretty damn ball skills at tracking and jumping to grab balls.
To compare Banks to Key is stupid. Outside of them both being black and WR with similar height....that is about where their games are close to Dane Key. Again, I get we have to fill out a WR room and cool with taking Banks....but he's no Dane Key.

Banks might be a really good player! Fans are muted in reaction because WR simply isn't a pressing position of need now! Another reciever doesn't fix the problems that caused us to slip to 7-5!
Perhaps not. But our coaches can walk and chew gum. A recruiting class is built one player at a time. With five receivers leaving UK through the transfer portal, I imagine you would agree we need more of them. As you know, this will not stop our coaches from recruiting players at other positions.
"Everyone" said no such thing. But that ship sailed a very long time ago. Fast forward to the present, which is a good deal more relevant than Ernest Sims.
I hope we are taking good, quality players and not just warm bodies because it's late in the game and we're desperate. We stole this guy from Toledo. Now we're trying to flip a RB from Buffalo. Our class is rated #51. It's December and signing day is two weeks away. WTH happened to our recruiting?
If he has the hands Key does and is able to catch anything thrown his way despite being draped on by two guys then the comparison is legit. Key's hands are what sets him apart and what earned him a starting job as a true freshman.
OK....whatever. For anyone that has actually seen an actual game of the 2 players...they are not alike. But OK. Christian Lewis was taller and could conceiveably high point passes.....but he is not a good Dane Key comparison either.
This is about putting lipstick on a recruiting mess at UK IMO. We've taken a huge step back in recruiting (which I notice all the NIL changes ranting on here that went down last 2 months have made no impact on 2022 class down the stretch I see). But Banks and Key are not alike. Dumb to even contrast the two.
We are just taking bodies to fill out a roster at this point is what I see happening.
