Definitely not an Alabama fan, but I live in SC and definitely won't be able to handle all the Clemson fans if they win. I guess I'm going for Alabama tonight just because of it. Honestly, I probably won't even watch it

Not into the pulling for my conference thing. I'd like to see Clemson win, because I think they are the underdog, but I think Bama pulls away in the end.

Given that Clemon has been one of our most hated rivals over the years I will be pulling for Bama but I don't like it much, but Bama winning isn't great for the rest of the SEC, they have enough ammunition already for the recruiting trail. But Clemson doesn't need anymore, so I am hoping for a blowout, shutout would be nice.

I could careless who wins, I just want it to be an entertaining game. I don't get all the conference allegiance crap myself.

I enjoy seeing the SEC do well in every sport. I know some do not, and that is fine, but the alternative is rooting for it to suck in every sport and that makes any accomplishments UK ever has happen look much less impressive. To be fair, every other sport has a legit bigger tournament to determine the national champ though so UK can beat other good conference teams and do well in said NCAA Tournaments like in b-ball, softball, and hopefully baseball, although they have not done as well as I'd like.

I expect to watch it, but I don't really care who wins. Still, since The Tide is in the SEC, I'll sort of pull for them, though I won't be disappointed if they lose.

I have lived in Alabama since I graduated 37 years ago and even though I tried to raise my kids as UK fans they are Bama fans so I will root for the Tide.

Not into "conference rooting" And well know what the reaction would be if Clemson (somehow) won and UL fans did the same thing.

UK or it doesn't matter.

No. Screw Bama. "Conference pride" does nothing good for UK.
Though it would be difficult to ever conclusively prove, I think it's reasonable to assume that at least some of our recruits, particularly our recruits from non-SEC states like Ohio, are attracted to UK because it's in the SEC. I would further venture to say that this attraction is largely based on SEC prestige. Granted, the benefit of being in a conference with a lot of prestige also benefits the 13 other SEC teams as well as UK. But a third of our regular season schedule doesn't get that benefit even if the two-thirds of the schedule that is SEC opposition does.

First time in my life I will ever pull against an SEC team, and normally I'm for Alabama since I went through pilot training in the Air Force there, and still have a lot of friends there, but I can't be for Harris after he lied to our coaches, and then said he only used us for perks.
My BLUE is to deep, and I despise liars. I don't blame him for going to Alabama, but I do blame him for playing us along, knowing he was NOT going to UofK.

I have always pulled for the SEC in bowl games, and definitely in the national championship games. However after the NCAA tourney last spring, my feelings have changed a good deal because I certainly didn't see it reciprocated much for us in the Final Four. Very few comments I read on Twitter or anywhere on line from SEC fans supported us. Quite the contrary.

It was really eye-opening for me regarding basketball support for us from our conference brothers. :(

This is why I am not big on the conference support issue. While I'm not sure about if SEC fans cheer us on in football, it is definitely not reciprocated in basketball. In basketball, in my experience, rarely at tourney games do other fanbases cheer for us.

Alabama is the establishment-nay- the Machine if you will.

And you must be against the Machine every second of every day of your life.

But screw a bunch of Clemson. Just wanted a good game WHICH I GOT.

That's been going on forever. It didnt start last spring. Other SEC fanbases have always rooted against UK basketball in the NCAA tournament.

Probably so, but years ago, we didn't have all of the social media we have now. I guess I never paid that much attention to Twitter during the tourney before last season.
