I agree that baseball needs a salary cap, but there are should also be a minimum that teams should have to spend. Teams like the yankees, Red Sox, cubs, mets, etc.. all are having to pay a luxury tax for over spending to other teams. many of these cheap *** owners are pocketing that money instead of putting it back towards the franchise. I think the money given to the smaller teams should definitely have to be spent on players.

Supposedly the Brewers are set to offer 5/100 mil and I will be curious what other offers he gets

have $80 million coming off the books this year. Getting CC won't be the last of their signings.

I think teams like The Rays and Marlins, a few years ago, have proved that spending big time money doesn't always equal Championships.
