My mom is the only person I know who eats it. Has to be out of a can. She takes the leftover home with her. My wife doesn’t even like to buy the can.

Does your make-believe wife know you make a fool of yourself in the Political forum 24 hours a day?

Yay from me. I make it fresh

1 bag of cranberries
1 orange zest/juice
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
1 shot of brown water bourbon/brandy

Put everything into a sauce pan and bring to a boil until all the berries burst open. Give it a stir and chop it up as best you can or if you have an immersion blender hit it with that. Pour into a bowl and let it set up preferably overnight.

I like it once a year at Thanksgiving, but for some reason my wife didn't serve it this year. Probably because we had a bunch of other stuff but I like it... once a year.

My sister in law makes cranberry relish and is tasty. The stuff my grandma made with nuts in it was good too.

The orange zest/juice is key. Delicious.

Homemade sauce is so damn good it’s like a dessert.

Boil cup of water and cup of sugar to dissolve sugar. Add 4 cups cranberries and return to a boil then simmer for 10 minutes while cranberries burst open. Then set aside and add pecans and raisins however much ya want, pinch of cinnamon. Refrigerate overnight to thicken.

**** is legit.

My ex-wife made KILLER homemade cranberries. She left it fairly tart.

I always told her that if she could get the lines in it as it chilled, it would be perfect. :)

It looked nothing like I was used to from my childhood.

I try not to eat anything resembling curdled period blood at Thanksgiving.

I just made a cranberry Manhattan with some of my leftover cranberry sauce. It was pretty good. Maybe a pice of candied orange peel and a sprig of rosemary would’ve taken it to the next level.

1. Shaker full of ice
2. 1oz of sweet vermouth
3. 2oz bourbon
4. 2tsp of the sauce
5. Shake and pour

Cranberry Sauce is like frozen pizza or macaroni... the cheaper it is the better it is. No need to fancy it up, just plop it out of the generic can and that's as good as it gets.
