I dont know how anybody likes it. It gets a big nay from me.
My mom is the only person I know who eats it. Has to be out of a can. She takes the leftover home with her. My wife doesn’t even like to buy the can.
The orange zest/juice is key. Delicious.Yay from me. I make it fresh
1 bag of cranberries
1 orange zest/juice
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
1 shot of brown water bourbon/brandy
Put everything into a sauce pan and bring to a boil until all the berries burst open. Give it a stir and chop it up as best you can or if you have an immersion blender hit it with that. Pour into a bowl and let it set up preferably overnight.
NAY!I dont know how anybody likes it. It gets a big nay from me.
We made some. Love it. Actually like the berries as much as the sauce. My sister in law makes cranberry relish and is tasty. The stuff my grandma made with nuts in it was good too.
I used to eat around the nuts, but my grandma made it too. I think when your first grandchild is delivered, the recipe for that dish is sent automatically to your mailbox. The stuff my grandma made with nuts in it was good too.
@drxman1I used to eat around the nuts
Cranberry Sauce is like frozen pizza or macaroni... the cheaper it is the better it is. No need to fancy it up, just plop it out of the generic can and that's as good as it gets.
