Perhaps the shows Yellostone is competing against suck even worse.
Millions of people watch wrestling on tv. I would argue that watching people dancing in underware to a scripted outcome is proof Americns will watch anything. Dancing with the Stars. American Idol, Teen Mom.....tv is mostly trash today. The number of people watching is not really an accurate indication on how entertaining a show is. Maybe everything else sucks.
The trailers for the show say "The #1 show on television" if you believe this it says plenty about the quality of television now days.

I like the sound tracks. Not main stream country music for the most part.
Won’t argue that at all. I doubt most of us like the top ten musicians these days and think they’re awful. I was just saying ratings wise. But if it’s the best of the worst, it’s still that.
Best of the worst....I agree with that.
These interludes of aggrandizing roping cattle while blaring country music just seems forced and tacky. And really doesn't contribute to the show in any meaningful way. (IMO) I still watch the show, mainly because nothing better is offered on television at this present time. My opinion also is KC is the only decent actor in the entire show.

Appreciate that and I agree to an extent. I enjoy it like you because there isn’t much else on.
I've only seen the first 2 seasons, but it's a very good show. It's not Sopranos/Breaking Bad great, but still a quality show. It can get a little Dallas like with the drama, but I don't mind that.
She's insufferable. I was so disappointed to see that she survived that explosion.
After how near-perfect Season 1 was.. everyone was amped for season 2.
Season 3 is pretty good.
1 is all time great television

Just to be fair, and her character is awful, he says, “I have an ambulance on the way, I’ll meet you on the road.”
Hence why she was driving. This isn’t regular city stuff. An ambulance probably takes 30-45 minutes to get there.

It seems with each new season they are trying to offset any toxic masculinity by having Beth, Indian Beth, Outsider Beth, etc.
She's the ruination of the show. Her character is not even remotely interesting.
Taking to her to a bar was a dumb plot line. Big shocker she gets into a fight. Just waste of a character.

What is a bigger waste of a character Beth or the fact Kayce is now in his 2nd season of getting a few minutes per episode and it's dealing with his insane wife.
Kinda disappointed so far for sure. Thought this season was gonna be better it seems it's just not as good as first few years. Maybe I let it play a few weeks and watch all at once kinda like 1883.
Beth is there for the women who watch the show, not the men. She get's on just about any man's nerves but all women like to think she is their alter ego.
But do we really need 3-4 versions of her? We now have the OG Beth, the Native American version of her, Jamie's new love interest and to a lesser degree the older woman. All are basically the same strong, domineering, don't take no crap off of anyone characters.
No, we absolutely don't. I like the show but several angles, including that one, are annoying to me. Vilifying the native americans is another one that bothers me but it's a show so whatever.
Jamie went to producers and asked for a ***** and they was liked why the hell not. The show is losing steam fast as far as I can tell.
It basically FORCED that weird "I know who you are scene" between he and Costner, just to catch the audience up.WTH happened to the kid that plays Carter? His looks totally changed in 1 year.
Yeah tend to agree. Season has been bad so far and I really liked this show.
Beth should’ve got her *** kicked last night. Nine years of jiu jitsu should’ve more than handled her…never seen a more recent character with more plot armor than her.
I'll finish this season out, but I don't know if I'll continue with any further seasons unless it changes course.
This season is all Beth and its awful.
Yeah, I'm done with her. Much more interesting characters than her. She is useless for this show.
Unless someone on the show wakes up. Viewership will start dying. Sick of her being the focal point.
