Yes we would lose anyway but those ACC refs let LSU get away with murder

Even the TV announcers said LSU on play after play had offensive linemen illegally down field which were not called by the refs. This gave LSU open wide receivers.

Also LSU Offensive Linemen held on many uncalled plays and with OU in striking range being behind 14-7 at this time, Stingley the LSU D-back pulled Hazelwood down by his arm with a flagrant flagrant pass interference not called. Even though Lincoln Riley went berserk by this non call screaming at the ref, the ACC refs continued to allow LSU having Offensive linemen illegally down field on passing plays especially when LSU's QB Joe Barrow was scrambling.

This is not sour apples about the outcome of this game which is obvious, but these refs were the worse most biased Refs I have ever seen.

Can't disagree with that, but I think the depleted roster had the most to do with it being a blowout. If OU had played the whole season with the lineup they took to Atlanta, I doubt they'd have won 7 games.

Yes the refs were not calling ; 1 holding, 2 blocker downfield, 3 PI, 4 etc....and it was always LSU commuting the penalties....

But we got beat like a rented mule , irregardless of the corrupt officials....

It was bad to point that the playoff committee should refuse to ever have ACC officials again....

LSU has about as complete of a team that college football has seen in many years. Across the board they do not have many weaknesses. I look for them to beat Clemson in two weeks.

LSU is -6, -220, +180...Guido sez LSU has a 67% chance of winning.

They may have been bad but how do you know they were biased?

Refs were bad, LSU got away with at least 2 serious misses, but the refs were letting both sides play. Many times I looked for a flag, both sides, and none came.

I am not going to blame the refs for this despite some very questionable calls or no calls. Bottom line is OU is still trying to pull the Tigers feet out of there asses. That was a total royal *** whipping and no other way around it.

The only possible grace that our team can get from this is for LSU to also kick Clemsons *** in a dominating manor. Can they? Doubtful because Clemson at least will bring D to the game. I dislike the SEC big time but at this point I just want Clemson to lose more. Dabo is becoming a ***** and that fanbase is beyond liking. A 48-17 drubbing of Clemson would make our loss a little less humiliating.

Sorry Soonerborn59 but I didn't feel any better when Clemson rolled Bama after Bama thumped us and if Bama had blownout Clemson it would not have made it any better. An *** kicking is an asskicking and no matter what the team does that gave us the asskicking makes it feel better.
I can never be for an sec team especially these pompous *** coonass fans. Most of my family are sec fans, they talk more crap than anyone can imagine.
I say again GO CLEMSON! By A LOT!

Yea I feel you 67 as I live just a little North of you as I believe your in Little Rock correct? I am lucky as my family is mostly Hog fans but don’t get into the SEC SEC stuff. So I don’t have to listen to it as much except when at work. Your right it won’t make me feel better but by LSU kicking Clemsons *** it will take some of the national backlash off OU.

...as well as nipping their winning streak in the bud, NOW, and not having to wait until next year, or worse, The NEXT Year, to insure OUr ongoing Streak Supremacy, and Claim to Fame...

Forget the anti-SEC and the "we-was-robbed" crap.
OU, as usual, embarrassed itself and its fanbase in the postseason.....as it continues to ruin what was the OU legacy.
I'm not embarrassed at all. This was LSU's best team ever, and was probably one of the worst (albeit over-achieving) OU teams to ever qualify for post season play, not to mention the playoff. Also, if they'd played the entire season with the roster they brought to Atlanta, they'd have been very lucky to win 7 games. And I wouldn't worry about OU's legacy. A lot of people thought it was the end during the Blake years. If OU can bounce back from that, it can bounce back from a disappointing 12-2 season.

The reality of it all is only one teams fans will be happy after the National Title Game and the rest will anxiously await for what will happen next season.
You never know what will happen from one season to the next. Who thought LSU would do what they have done so far this year? I know I didn't. Hell I didn't even think for the 2 yrs that OU would make the playoffs especially this year.
It is what it is.
Bama got blown out by Clemson in the Title Game last year. We know how that feels, that USC beatdown stung for many yrs after but hey it happens and we didn't shut down our football program over it. How many Bama fans, players or Coaches would look back and say I wish we hadn't even been in the playoffs?

I have been venting just as most everyone else has and its hard to not get angry so who cares what the outsiders say. Do they think they can make us feel any worse than we already do?
The only reason they do it is because it makes them feel better about their crappy existence, riding the coattails of someone else's success and then gloating about it.
We WILL have our day again.

Yep.

BTW, I followed LSU fairly closely this season. The SEC is headed for Big XII style "basketball on grass" football. LSU-Bama would have been an OU-TTU style shootout but for some early errors by Bama.

I remember Saban used to complain about the HUNH Offenses and eventually he saw what was happening and overhauled his offense and started recruiting for a high powered offense, he said as much that he would not long after OU beat Bama in the Sugar Bowl. Same with what LSU is doing now. The sec is looking more like the big 12 with one difference, they still play defense

It is possible to hold two ideas in your head

1 the refs were biased extremely
2 we were beaten like a rented mule.....

I don’t know anyone that blames the loss on the refs, also I don’t know anyone that thought the refs were not biased...
