What gives? I mean virtually every school has a cup, cooler or some specialty container with their logo. UT, Bama, Vanderbilt, UL. I would like to have a cup with UK instead of having to buy a plain cup. What the hell is going on. I mean every one has a cup except UK, makes nice gifts for family. etc. Makes zero sense.

You can get a UK car window sticker and put on the side of a blue one. That is what someone did for me for Christmas and it looks fine.

I just bought a Kentucky decal off Etsy back when the new logo came out and put it on my RTIC tumbler. That was about the only place I could find a new logo decal at the time. I am color blind and wasn't sure which color to pick because the seller had like 30 options, several of which were blues, and she even helped me pick out the correct UK blue.

I bought a plain Yeti and took it to a jeweler to have the UK etched on the side because I am rich and throw money away.
My wife bought me some knock-off tumblers. I lost it. I mean just went ape **** because she didn't understand NO ONE WILL KNOW WHO I SUPPORT! We may be able to resolve through mediation but even the mediator told me my tumbler looked "cheap" and asked me if I supported ISIS with that garbage. Stupid *****.
It's because of UK's licensing deal with Fermata. All these schools you see on YETI products are represented by IMG Licensing. When Kentucky awarded their multimedia rights deal to JMI, they also signed a new licensing agreement with Fermata. So Kentucky will miss out on some of the big deals IMG Licensing has been able to do with YETI and other brands.
Now that is what I a was asking for. I mean we are top 6 in license tees and no yeti deal. I mean I just saw 100 drunks on the Gulf Coast that all had their teams and their Bud Light every day.
I just wanted to know if there was another reason other than not being affiliated with IMG anymore. Thank you.
Hopefully UK can get on board with YETI at some point. It's just that Fermata's university client list is so small compared to IMG. I think they only rep 8-10 schools. I suppose they just don't have the negotiating power yet with that small number of schools compared to IMG.
I just don't get the whole tumbler craze. It's not really a big deal that it keeps ice for 3 days. Are you gonna take 3 days to drink it??

Folks will find the most amazing things to use as status symbols.
Showed a buddy of mine on FB how his $500 investment on a cooler could better work for him as dividends in the future and asked if the ice was still worth it.
Come to think of it, I did the same thing when he put $8k worth of marble countertop in his kitchen. Starting to think he's not the quickest of cats. Maybe a YETI is the modern day iteration of "Here's your sign."
I get scoffing at brand whores when there are other, less expensive options that perform just as well, but I use the absolute hell out of my tumbler and can cooler.
Just a guess. These dudes did not look like they had much sophistication so probably drinking mad dog or something.

Why does anyone need a YETI "cup"? A cooler on a week long trip with no access to ice I get, but a cup? A koozy? Cmon.... Just drink the ish already.
I bought 2 30oz stainless steel double wall cups a couple of years ago from a JC Penny's store in Elizabethtown made by Boelter.Brands that is UK blue all over with 2 large white UK logo's on different sides and 2 small University Of Kentucky lettering's on opposites sides. It is a knock off brand but keeps things cold a long time. These two tumblers are very nice looking.

I got some knockoff brand stainless steel one at Academy Sports for like $15 and it works great. Mainly use it for traveling. Fill it with ice and just keep adding Coke to it and the ice lasted all the way to Panama City Beach. My wife forgets hers in the car all the time and the next day it sometimes still has ice in it during these hot Summer days.
YETI is now the cool Christmas/birthday/etc present to get someone that's not too exspensive but also is decently nice. I've got 4 of those little mugs to put cans in as a gift.
