I said Stoops. Get a lot of value if this is a free fire scenario pick. He goes and most of the list goes with him.
Mitch needed to go years ago. Sure, he made a really nice softball stadium with chair back seats. He paid for those seats with my hard earned money that I paid so I could sit my a** on a cold aluminum bleacher in Commonwealth Stadium. The bleachers are still there, but I am not.
And then the AD that gave you Stoops and Joker Phillips picks the next coach. What does that help? Nothing would change.
I personally said Mitch. For the simple fact if we all conclude next year looks bleak with the schedule and Stoops has to go, do you really want to give Mitch another stab at finding his replacement?
I originally voted for Dawson but after thinking about it, Eliot makes much more since. Who knows what Dawson can do and was allowed to do? Brown struggled for two years here under Stoops and was uber successful at Texas Tech. Eliot brings very little to the table. Stoops is probably making most of the decisions on defense and Eliot has not brought in many recruits. Brumbaugh has actually done a pretty good job with the D-line and Elam in particular. I say make him the DC/D-line coach and replace Eliot with a special teams coach who is also a strong recruiter.
I agree the Defense has been decent most of the time but I am not convinced Eliot had much of anything to do with it. It appears that Stoops has micro-managed an offense that he knows very little about. If so, you can bet that he has complete control of a defense that he is very familiar with. I am not saying Eliot has done a bad job. Just that he seems to middle-management that we can do without and that he brings very little to the recruiting table.

Easy answer. Definitely Mitch. Only way we'll ever see a Mark Richt or Les Miles quality coach here.

Andy Buh. He was hired instead of a ST coach. While hes done a decent job with the OLB, no need to split that position with Elliot. Fire him and hire a ST coach, which should have been the hire last year anyway.
Yeah...fire the same AD who won AD of the year this past year. Barnhart screwed up with the Gillispie and Joker hires, but from all accounts Mark Stoops was a great hire who has recruited better than anyone ever has at UK. This season was disappointing, but Stoops is still going to be successful I believe. All of these idiots calling for Barnhart to be fired are hilarious considering he is considered one of the best in the business by his peers lol. Im sure a bunch of Joe's on the internet know more than the other collegiate ADs in the country.
