This isnāt the uconn of the last two years, but theyāll probably be fine. This is one of the dangers of these tournaments, they can spiral quickly. I wouldnāt be shocked if they come home with three losses.

UConn's biggest issue seems to be defensively right now. Samson Johnson fouls alot and isn't as good without Clingan. Their guards aren't very good defensively yet. During the last 2 tournament runs Purdue and Alabama shot 44% against them. Everyone else shot below 40%. The last two games both Memphis and Colorado shot over 50%.
In 22-23 a Uconn opponent shot over 50% 4 times and last year they only had 3 of those games.

I will say the non call for over the back on Colorado has to suck BUT UConn 2 times Gifted officiating presents from the refs in the couple minutes before that so Hurley should just be thankful they werent behind and losing sooner.
