You get to be a sports person on one day in sports history, who are you choosing to be? Don Larsen throwing a perfect game? Sandy Koufax or Nolan Ryan being unhittable? Wilt when he scored 100 points? Jordan hitting the game winner against Utah? Maz hitting a walk-off home run in Game seven of the '60 World Series? Johnny MIller shooting 63 at Oakmont? Ron Turcotte riding Secretariat at the Belmont? Jim Craig in net against the Russians?

I think I'd go with Jack Nicklaus final round at the '86 Masters. My next choice might be to be Reggie Jackson and hit three home runs on three swings in the World Series against the Dodgers.

Maybe off the wall a bit - at least as far as most responses for this will go - but I would choose to be Darren Rahlves on January 25, 2003 or Bill Johnson on February 16, 1984. Darren wins the Hahnenkamm downhill in Kitzbühel Austria (only the 2nd American man to win this race the other being Buddy Werner whose head I get to tap for luck often - IYKYK) or Olympic glory in Sarajevo Yugoslavia - too bad the rest of his life was such a **** show.

I think everyone would be Jack in 86.
Now top 10. That would be interesting as many would go with their favorite teams.

This is a tough one. Jordan for the “flu” game? Jordan when he dropped 63 in a playoff game against the Celtics? Jordan when he had the game winning steal and shot against the Jazz in the finals? Dale Earnhardt when he finally won the Daytona 500? Mazeroski walk off homer to beat the Yankees in the 1960 WS? Big Ben threading the needle to Santonio Holmes in the corner of the endzone late to win the SB? Too many great moments to narrow it down for me.

Smokin Joe Frazier on March 8, 1971 in what was billed as The Fight of the Century.

I still have vivid memories of that famous Frazier left hook knocking down Ali in the 15th round on his way to a unanimous win that night.

Not really a fantasy I indulge in anymore, but maybe Agassi in the 1999 French Open final vs Andre Medvedev. Celebrating in Paris after a grueling five setter (down 2-0 and came back with rain delay) and either fully divorced from Brooke Shields or in the process of it. Steffi Graf won the women’s final that year too….Agassi’s first French Open win as well as the one to cement his career Grand Slam and Golden Grand Slam.

… I’d have to include Franz on the day of HIS edge of disaster downhill win in a prior Olympics!

Anyone on the Miracle on Ice team in 1980.

Boris Becker winning Wimbledon in 1985 at age 17. The first unseeded player to win that tournament.

Eric Heiden winning 5 golds at the 1980 Winter Olympics in speed skating in Lake Placid.
