For sure. Many expected the cats would be the sentimental favorite of everyone, including the refs, because of the history and the crowd. It turned out to be the opposite. They gave the #1 seed every conceivable break. Too much to overcome.
As a somewhat objective fan (Boilermaker here), I totally agree... those refs were brutal, and that goal-tending and technical was complete BS. Totally changed the game... that place was about to go NUTS if the Cats had cut it to 3.
Sorry that you guys had to go out in such a tough fashion, but you represented the conference well... was a pleasure to cheer for you all in the tourney this year!!
