Seen a lot of people talking about this: Fireworks every night, well before sunset until to 3am. Never until this year has it been this much. And it's rarely the good stuff that you can see.. it's just m80's, firecrackers, etc.. the exact type of fireworks that disrupt the community.

Thankfully, our dog has become completely accustomed to it, probably because it sounds like Baghdad every night and she's over it.. But a lot of people are losing their minds who have sensitive dogs, people with disabilities, those with war PTSD.

Some people think it's COVID jobless being bored, some think it's from the protests, others are claiming they have proof that it's police lighting these off to stir the pot.

It's pretty widespread across the Northeast, any one else dealing with this?

I’ve not seen/heard any yet. But with large gatherings being forbidden, therefore professional fireworks displays cancelled, I think a lot of people will have their own. House fires and ER visits should be at an all time high this year.

Here, it sounds like World War 3 every night, but it doesn't bother me in the least. Of course, I love the smell of fireworks in the evening. I once shot fireworks 12 hours straight, without a single dud, but that smell, that gunpowder smell, over the whole neighborhood, it smelled like.......victory.

Either 2 people just got shot or those were fireworks. It happens most nights anymore but doesn't go on too late.

It's the Boogaloo Boys getting everyone used to the sound of gunfire so there is less panic in the streets when the fighting starts. Or Antifa, BLM, the Deep State, the FBI, the CIA, the Russians, the ChiComs, the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group, George Soros, the Mossad, or the Masons. Who it is not is definitely not aliens. UFO aliens. It could be MS13, the Drug Cartels, La Raza, Bigfoot, Yeti, or mountain lions. Because Epstein didn't kill himself!

neighborhood called Leemont Acres lights em off every night. People been raising nine kinds of hell about them, only to cause them to shoot off more. Sometimes til 3 am. No consideration at all for people who have to get up early for work. I thought it was against the law to light these kinds of fireworks in a neighborhood. Some said they called the cops only to be told they would not respond to non emergency calls.. Guess it's gonna take some angry person who is tired of hearing it at 3am to shoot somebody before the police will come...Happy I don't live there.

3:30 in the morning and they are doing this crap. If anyone has any defense for whoever is doing this please let me know.
The answer you are about to give me is why I now own a gun and am willing to use it.

It legit sounded like Fallujah last night. I don't mind too much because it is the holiday weekend.

And we wonder why so many people want tougher gun laws. It's because there are gun owners that seem willing and eager to take someone's life over an annoyance.

Quite a show, observed from the end of my driveway last night. At least three neighbors were shooting off rockets of the same quality that you'd see at a profession fireworks display.

I would love to show you what an annoyance really is. FU if you think keeping people up until all hours of the night is an annoyance.

That's quite literally, exactly what an "annoyance" is..
So if I stand in the street in front of your house shooting off firecrackers from midnight to 4 AM EVERY NIGHT and the cops won't do anything about it you would just be fine with it?

What? I'm saying that lighting fireworks every night is exactly that, an annoyance. I'm not saying "Deal with it". But you seem to imply that it's not something so big. Maybe I read it wrong.

What I want to happen is for the cops to go tell them to knock it off so the neighborhood could sleep. They won't do it. It's every night for a month now.

I may have got my wish. They started again tonight at 9:30 again. About 20 or 25 minutes later I heard a helicopter (I presume at this hour it was a police helicopter) and nothing for the last 45 minutes. I can only hope.
