Hey Clonz......I realize JTS was built 40+ years ago.....but do you know (or recall) if the stadium was constructed on more-or-less dead flat ground ??

I ask only because our twin was built on fairly rolling ground which was previously a golf course; and strictly speaking, the playing field would probably be characterized as sitting fairly well below the original grade (though I wouldn't know how deep).

In other words, is the current JTS playing field "at" the surrounding ground level ??

It was/is super flat ground. In fact, it is a flood plain for the Skunk River. Hilton Coliseum sits about 2,000' directly north of JTS and below is a video clip from the 2010 flood that had water 9' deep inside Hilton. At the 2:00 minute mark you are looking directly south towards JTS, but can't see it because of the trees. JTS field is actually lower than the grade outside of the stadium.
