Before the season started, I predicted 9-2 OOC and 11-9 B1G for 20-11 regular season total.

A few friends thought I was crazy, but I thought that this team had a really good chance of finishing in the top half of the B1G and dancing. While right now I think/hope we will do better, I am just rolling with my pre-season prediction and root for a win in the next game. It is so much fun beating these B1G blue bloods.

A win is a win and for this discussion I guess you include Caldwell but imo in any discussion about what really matters that win doesn't count. Argument for a different thread?

Predicted a 24-7 regular season pre-season so I'm definitely dying on that hill. OVER

Better than even chance, imo, that we finish 12-8 in B1G, then win at least one in B1G tourney. So, going into the NCAA with 22 wins, then win at least one there, which would put us at 23+ wins for the year. So I’ll say “over” as my guess.

I'm torn due to the past of which has nothing to do with this team. 11 games to go - 6 games against schools we've not beaten since joining the Conference (Purdue, Michigan, Maryland). Add on 3 road games in Columbus, Madison and Penn State. Then add on a home game against an Illinois team that has been winning on the road.

I'm trying to convince myself that never beating Purdue, Michigan and Maryland has nothing to do with this season, however, it's difficult.

Ok, I think we win 20 games in the regular season (5-6 the rest of the way and a finish of 11-9) and then 1 win in the B1G Tournament to get us to the Big Dance for the first time since 91.

It’s going to be a grind. Think we are going to alternate wins and losses. I’m settling on 20 as my prediction going into the conference tournament knowing that we need to win a game to get into the NCAA.
