Hopefully these young bucks stay healthy. I know it was the spring game, but I am super excited for Ervin. Feel like he could be our next great back. Smooth.

He’s drifted some from the spotlight due to health issues, but I’m still excited for what Morrison could do.
Ervin does look like he has some natural feel.

I also like the mix of bigger backs to lay some thump.

We just need the stable of backs to be healthy and let competition sort out the playing time.
I don’t want to be playing RBs by “default” because of injuries.

should find separation this fall then expect 1-2 to transfer after things shake out.

For the past couple of years, NU has been riding Mills and hoping for the best in terms of injuries and his availability. If Stepp gets right in terms of injuries, I see him, Ervin and Morrison completing for the majority of carries. I hope Scott and Yant surprise me.

From limited action, I am pretty excited about Ervin. What I see in his running is the ability to set up blocks, wait and accelerate when he needs to. I look for him to show well in fall camp and come on more as the year progresses.
