We are just 10 days away from tip-off! It is time to have some fun and give us your Bold (or not so bold) yearly predictions!

  1. Trio of Blanca, Cierra, and Nyla Harris combine for 30 points, 22 rebounds and 3 blocks a game.
  2. Carolina ends up with 3 or 4 players on ALL-ACC teams at the end of the season
  3. Carolina wins 30 games in the season for the first time since Ivory Latta's SR year and advances to the E8
  4. Carolina wins one of the ACC regular season championship or ACCT.
  5. Lanie Grant and Reniya Kelly shoot >40% from deep
  6. Nyla Brooks is the ACC Freshman of the Year and/or 6th player of the year
  7. We are able to go a legit 10-deep in ACC games for the first time in the CB era.
  8. We take a step back defensively from Top8 in the country, but still finish with a Top 15 scoring defense. And we increase our offense to 15th as well.
  9. 8 different Tar Heels will finish the game as a leading scorer this year.
  10. Carmichael hosts again and Carolina advances to the Elite 8.

  1. Aarnisalo is the real deal and our best true PG of the Banghart era. Averages 5+ assists
  2. Kelly's scoring production and efficiency increases in the SG role.
  3. Thomas averages 9-10 rebounds per game and battles Faye and Lattimore for the ACC lead in blocks with over 2 per game.
  4. Heels finish #2 in the ACC and play in the ACCT Final
  5. Heels host and win a sweet 16 game
  6. I cheer UNC to victory in Hansbrough Indoor Stadium, where UNC scores no more that 50 points.
  7. I post way too often all season long

1- I predict Nyla B will lead this team in scoring.
2- I predict we beat ncsu and the dookies at least once this season.
3- I predict we win at least one of the regular season or tournament championships
4- I agree with C151 that Reniya and Lanie will shoot better than 40% from 3.
5- I predict Blanca, Nyla H, Ciera and Taissa Q average 30 pts and 20 reb's this season.
6- I predict we make it to the E-8
7- I predict Elina A starts from day one and leads the ACC in assists.

I predict that this team will be a better free throw shooting team. We will have better spacing so that the offense will be much more efficient and the ball movement should be a whole lot better. Rebounding as a team will be better with the positional size that we have on the perimeter. EA will be better than Littlefield at the PG position which is going to be huge because Littlefield was very good.

rj08 I like your bold predictions.

If Ciera is the most improved player in the ACC this year we will be maybe Final 4 good.

A wild card for us is the possibility of one of or more than one of the unknowns like Liza A, Taissa Q or
Taliyah H ARE so good they earn key roles on this years team

In my mind anything less than top 3 in the ACC would be disappointing.

2 seed in the NCAA would be great

This team should get better as the year goes on due to youth and lots of moving parts.

We could put a tall athletic group on the court and press effectively.
