All My Friends - LCD Soundsystem. So glad they're getting back together.

Testify - RATM. From the best concert ever.

Burning Down the House - Walk the Moon. One of the best, most energetic live covers I've ever seen.

With or Without You - U2. Not the best performance, but what an alpha move pulling the fan out of the crowd, laying together, and singing this directly to her. Really cool moment.

Black Skinhead - Kanye West. This is one of my all-time favorite SNL performances. Shocking, full of emotion. God this good.

Watched this with my ex in 1985. Very sentimental. In German.

Another from the same era, in German and with an English intro, at the 1985 Eurovision finals, which is also sentimental. Petra Scheeser was a babe back in the day.

the dude singing in the second video looks like matt jones as a transvestite.

This version of the Allman Brothers Band is the best collection of musicians since the original Allman Brothers Band lineup. Truth be told, this lineup is better.

This is one badass jam band.

One of my favorite live YouTube performances involved a woman who made a video of herself having fun at the Oregon State school library. Sandra Sutherland AKA "Library Girl".

I think this is live. Merle Travis and Chet Atkins... a little bit of tom foolery at the start. There are other duets with Atkins playing this with Mark Knopfler where Atkins takes the Travis role. I think this is better.

Going back over this thread, and viewing stuff I haven't seen, has taken about 2 hours of my life. What a glorious way to spend 2 hours. :sunglasses:

Edit: I'm adding another live vid because I plan to trek to Louisville on March 4th to see them at Headliners. They are from Austin and I've heard good things so I'm a' going. As for you young folks, take it from someone from the era of arena giants, go see every show you can, you'll be glad you did.

My Morning Jacket in one of their first Bonaroo shows. From a doc called "We Have Arrived"

Love the "Jam in the Van" channel.

I'm sure I have plenty more but those two are saved on my YouTube channel that I could find while at work.

Res-ur-ected!
Just got back from seeing the Heartless Bastards and wanted to tell folks they're scheduled to be at Forecastle this year. I know several on here go and, I'm not an outdoor festival guy, I may have to go see them again. Good to see great musicians do their thing.
