The big difference is that these are occurring on college campuses with the endorsement and encouragement. of some faculty and administrators. Speaker after speaker has been run off campus. This is the future of the Dem party not some fringe group like the KKK or the Nazi's proclaiming to be part of the GOP when they weren't. Howard Dean essentially endorsed their actions by agreeing the speech should be shut down. Nice try.

Hilarious that your racism runs so deep that you don't recognize the support from blatantly racist minority factions such as BLM, Antifa, and La Rasa. I guess racism only exists in white society.

You left out the Nation of Islam. BTW, these groups have far, far more members than the KKK or the Nazi Party. And it is not even close.

Never mind that an overwhelming majority of Republicans are repulsed by the idea of the Klan and the Nazi Party. You won't find anyone on this board defending them. You won't find any leadership or rank and file politicians in the party courting their support and in all cases, they renounce said support. Yet, the same can't be said from the Dem side. The fallacy of his argument is so blatant, it's knuckle-draggingly simple minded and clouded in stupidity. I'm not sure how he doesn't see how ridiculous him and Vanilla Ice come across when they make the comment.

When the current head of the DNC says pro-life people are not welcome and when the past head of the DNC says it is ok to shut down free speech, this is not a fringe movement. It is going mainstream spurred on by college and university faculty and administrators. When you read Cornel West proclaiming that far left progressives must take over the party, it is not a fringe movement. When the party embraces BLM, La Raza, Nation of Islam, CAIR and other outside the mainstream groups, middle America will be repulsed. Again, this is not a fringe movement, it is becoming the Dem base.

Don't forget Pax all those Radical Feminists marching after Trump's inauguration. "F-You!"

"I'm a naaaaasty Woman"

"Like my blood stained sheets, or the blood stains on my Jeans!!!!!!"

Keep your hands off my cvnt"

"My ***** bites back". "My *****, my right"

Real exemplary inclusive speech among that group right? The Pro Life Feminists who also wanted to march and be included were told to go home.

All of this openness and tolerance from the "kind, considerate' compassionate, permissive Left".

It should go without saying, but saying a political party is bad on Issue X because of what people did 150 years ago is as silly as it gets. This is not a defense of Dems in any way but just rather an acknowledgment of just how silly the argument is.

The KKK is silly Op2, I don't care what "party" they belong to.

I was just pointing out to Keyser that despite media attempts to hang the KKK on Conservatives and/or Christians, they never point out to their audiences that the original Klan members were virtually exclusively Democrat.

Wonder why they leave out that little factoid?

Then why is the Left always blaming America, Christians, and even most White people in general for slavery in this country Op2?

That was roughly around the same time frame, and the Left acts as if America still practices it!

Black folks they have brainwashed too.

Actually, the KKK were almost exclusively Dems. Only one southern Senator ever became a Republican, Strom Thurmond. All the rest stayed in the Dem party. So it is absolutely true the roots of the KKK were Democrat. The 1965 Civil Rights Act attracted more GOP votes than Dem votes.
