I think the offense takes a little bit to get things going but once they do I look for it to be a 45-7 type game

The point spread is 42.5 and the Sooners should cover. Temple is a nothing burger.
I predict we have a lot of worried fans on Saturday if we don't cover the spread.
I also predict we have a lot of overexcited fans on Saturday if we cover the spread.
Either way, I predict overreaction on Saturday. Like Bama stated, "Temple is a nothing burger." The game doesn't matter at all as long as OU wins. I don't think anything will be readable about the team from this game.

I think it will be a lower scoring game then most think. I expect a run heavy offense eating up yards and time from the Sooners. Give the big uglies, some well needed confidence, going forward.

Some of the predictions I've seen here are pretty close to what I was thinking.
My guess 44-10. What I really WANT to see, is a whole new defensive performance. I'd LOVE a shutout. But I think we'll barely not cover.

We're going to run the ball a lot. I don't expect to see a fast paced offense often but I really haven't done my homework this off-season as it's been an incredibly busy year.
I expect Temple to struggle moving the ball regardless of how we play defensively.
This is not a good opponent.

True story on a hog fan I work with. He told me before the season started that he things the Hogs will beat OSU. I asked him ā You realize this isnt the OSU team from back in the 70s and 80s dont you?ā His reply was ā Its a B12 team and they cant compete with the SECā. My final reply to him was ā Well Toledo, E Michigan and others done just fine vs Arkansasā. He had no response for that

It could also be that UNLV is actually decent. This is Barry Odom's second year, and he took UNLV to its first bowl game in a decade in his first year. Barry Odom might be a really good coach. Barry Odom is from Lawton, OK.
