Well, that's what all the numbers suggest. They obviously ran up a unit just slightly better today:

I saw. But looking at their schedule, do you think they are that good?

Ummm . . . don't know about that. SEC and Big 10 winner will be locks. After that, Washington (assuming they go undefeated) is also probably a lock, as is Clemson if they are undefeated, but if Clemson or Washington lose, then OSU-Michigan loser, ACC champ, UL-Houston winner, will all have arguments.
Houston is done.
Just have a feeling it will be tough to keep out a 1 loss P5 Champion...and they would have played that 13th Game.
They pretty much shut down Clemson ... and totally shut down Notre Dame (with a lot of help from the rain, granted).
If you go by performance to date, #1 offense in the country played the #13 defense today. #1 offense won.
If you saw the Notre Dame game, you would not consider that. They get great stats from that game, but you cannot count that.
Clemson is a rollercoaster. Look at ECU. Is that a good team?

Do you think that is the 13th best defense?
Outside of Jackson, the team will be gutted next year, especially if their top juniors declare early, which they probably will. This is the payoff year, and next year is the bonus year, if they do anything at all next year. As far as this year is concerned, that Clemson loss was a backbreaker. I am envisioning a team that will be left out in the cold when it comes to the playoff. There is simply no viable path.First off I dont think UL makes it in but I do think the nation wants them there (talking heads). That said if they win out they will have wins over ranked FSU and Houston. Thats two ranked teams right there. Unless folks are assuming both teams wont be ranked and if thats the case thats a lot of conjecture. We can do the same thing with just about any team not undefeated vying for a spot (assume their ranked wins become unranked wins). IIRC this time last year most of the playoff teams werent int he top 4 of the rankings. So when these rankings come out take a look below 4 and pick two teams. History says two or more of those playoff teams are outside the top 4 right now.
The bad news is Louisville will have Jackson back next year and they will start out int he top 10 or higher. The stepson who is a super fan of theirs has been adamant that year 4 of PEtrino was the payoff year, year 3 was a bonus year and he nailed their win total in years 1 and 2 before the seasons started. Hes in tune with the program but I guess thats easy to do when you have lunch with Jurich and other boosters once a month. While I have talked up their chances this year he has argued all along that they would not make the playoff and he still believes they lose one more game (rendering the playoff talk null). Then he looks at me and says next year they are a playoff team, lay your bets dad...lol, little punk (hes 40 now).
Actually, you are kind of amusing. In no way is Lamar Jackson a gauranteed heisman winner. I believe UL is severely overrated, they're a team that IMO hasn't beaten anyone good this year (I 100% expect FSU to finish season unranked). And if that happens to where they finish season with zero wins vs ranked teams, then how in the world could a QB for a team with zero wins over ranked teams win the heisman? I just think a team like Clemson will go undefeated AND have wins vs ranked teams which could win someone like Watson the Heisman. Lamar is the front runner right now. But I just don't see how a player on a team with no wins vs ranked teams could win the heisman (that's how it will shape up if FSU finishes unranked). And don't even get me started with playoff talk. You can't go to a playoff with zero wins vs ranked teams I'm sorry it just doesn't work that way.

You'd have exactly one dollar. (Which is probably your net worth, anyway). If you had a dollar for every time that other UK fans have said it, I have no idea how much you'd have; probably, not that much.Wish I had a dollar for every time you have said that next year we will be gutted.
Kinda hard to say. They are going against the #1 offense in the country.
Does Duke have a better defense or just a better coach?

How many actual starters, as opposed to players who may have started a game or two here and there? Eight? Nine?Louisville returns in 2017 likely 16 players that have starting experience in 2015 and 2016...as Brock Huard said during the game today Louisville is a young Football team especially on offense...biggest replacements will be DeAngelo Brown-(NT), ILB Keith Kelsey and DeVante Fields OLB
Better coach...that not even really debatable IMO

He outcoached BP that day.

What are you even getting at? You keep asking all of these random questions.
