There’s an old saying in recruiting: Alabama football doesn’t rebuild, they reload. This has been true since head coach Nick Saban was hired by the Crimson Tide in January of 2007.

The non-stop pipeline of football talent never seems to end and it’s safe to say, as long as Saban is the head coach in Tuscaloosa, it probably won’t end.

One of Saban’s future wide receivers was putting on a show for On3’s crew on the high school football field Friday.

Kobe Prentice is the 15th ranked wide receiver in America, according to the On3 Class of 2022 Wide Receiver Rankings. Friday night he showed everyone why.

The Alabama commitment put on a dazzling display of speed and cutting ability in the open field, breaking defenders ankles in the process.

Check out the clip from On3 Recruits below as the Calera (Calera, Alabama) wide receiver puts on a show against Pelham. Prentice took the catch from Preston Stokes 66-yards for a touchdown, the majority of which came after the catch. The score put Calera up 13-0 on Pelham.

Pelham defenders looked like they were on ice skates, simply slipping down and grasping for nothing but air as Prentice slashed his way around them. What an impressive display of speed and agility.

The future is now for Agiye Hall

One Alabama wide receiver that many people are pegging for superstardom on the roster is Agiye Hall. He exploded onto the scene in Alabama’s spring game a few months ago, hauling in four catches for 72 yards. A former five-star prospect, Hall possesses elite balance, body control, and hand eye coordination.

Traeshon Holden: Another breakout star in 2021?

Another Alabama wide receiver who showed out in the spring game for the Tide was wide receiver Traeshon Holden. He hauled in nine catches for 89 receiving yards, leading all Alabama receivers in the game. His longest catch was a 32-yard grab from quarterback Bryce Young. Many Tide fans are expecting big things from Holden in 2021.
