Terrance Love was one of 30-plus transfers this offseason to Colorado. However, Love is apparently not with the program anymore, just over a month into this season in Boulder.

Per Brian Howell at Buffzone and the Boulder Daily Camera, Love is no longer with the Buffaloes. That’s after having not appeared in a game for the team since their season opener back on August 29th.

“Safety Terrance Love, who transferred to Colorado from Auburn this summer, is no longer on the Buffaloes’ roster,” Howell posted this afternoon. “He played in the opener, but had been out since then.”

Love did not record any statistics in that season-opening loss to Georgia Tech, with a final score of 27-20. He was then on the injury report, listed as out for the following game against Delaware, with no news or appearances since for the junior safety.

Love spent his first two collegiate seasons at Auburn. He appeared in 22 games while with the Tigers, posting seven tackles and one deflection in their secondary. That’s after committing there as a Top 250 overall recruit and four-star in the 2023 recruiting class as a native out of Atlanta, Georgia, after getting interest from other top programs like AlabamaClemsonFloridaFlorida State, Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.

This past spring, Love elected to enter his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal. He did so as a player inside the Top 750 overall and as the No. 55 safety, per On3’s Industry Ranking of 2025’s Top Transfer Portal Players. He would then commit within the week to Colorado, joining a Top 25 class in the portal with 31 commitments per On3’s 2025 Team Transfer Portal Rankings.

It’s unknown as to what may have been the cause of the dismissal or departure of Love. Regardless, he’s not with Colorado anymore, halfway through its season after being one of the final additions from the portal just back in the spring for the Buffs.

Deion Sanders health update: Colorado head coach reveals his condition after medical procedure

Deion Sanders has dealt with his fair share of health issues in the last couple of years. Earlier this week, he underwent a procedure to deal with some blood clots he was having. He has since recovered, though he’s admittedly still feeling a little sore. But he was in good enough shape to take part in his weekly coaches show on Thursday afternoon.

“I’m a little sore today,” Deion Sanders said. “It’s always the second day is always much more sore than the first day, because you still have some of the medication inside you on the first day. So I’m a little sore today. So I was mainly on the cart, coaching from the cart today.”

“All good,” he said of his status. “All good.”

So what’s Saturday going to look like for Deion Sanders? He explained. And, as for the support he’s gotten during his ordeal, Deion Sanders was extremely thankful.

“I’m good. I’m not running out,” he said. “I’m not running out, I’m walking out this time. So don’t expect me to run out. I’m going to kind of walk out, like the old Ralph. We have some great fans, great supporters. Well wishes from Miss Peggy, everybody has reached out. So I thank everybody.”
