Alex Byington is a managing editor for On3’s National News Desk. Byington has been a sports journalist for nearly two decades. He spent the previous 7-plus years as an SEC beat writer covering both Alabama and Auburn — though never at the same time — for multiple news organizations around Alabama. Prior to that, he covered high schools and some colleges (as well as the occasional NFL or NBA game) while working for various local newspapers in both Kentucky and Texas.
