Georgia defensive lineman Christen Miller is no longer transferring from the Bulldogs, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

“I have unfinished business with my brothers,” Miller said. “I’m 100% percent locked in. Go Dawgs.”

Originally, Fawcett reported Miller was going to enter the transfer portal. But after about a day, the defensive lineman changed his mind and is locked in on trying to win a national championship in Athens.

Miller appeared in 13 games this past season to finish with 14 total tackles (four for loss) and one sack. He played just four games as a true freshman to preserve a redshirt year.

As a member of the Class of 2022, Miller was a four-star recruit out of Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 12 overall prospect in the state, the No. 16 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 122 overall prospect in the class.

Kirby Smart always wanted to keep Christen Miller home

Going back to when Miller committed, head coach Kirby Smart wanted to make sure to keep the talented defensive lineman in a Bulldogs uniform.

“That’s probably the No. 1 determining factor on a high-quality kid, Smart said in 2022. “You know he comes from a tremendous family. Consistency, when I’ve lost kids I feel like should’ve gotten, probably the No. 1 factor was did we recruit them with the correct consistency. When a kid honestly tells you he’s going to another place because they’ve recruited him more consistently, it makes it even more evident that you’ve got to be consistent.

“I’ll say this — we, and Tray Scott and staff, were extremely consistent with Christen Miller. It paid off. The message didn’t change, the consistency didn’t change. He valued relationships, and he saw in December what happens with guys moving all over the place. When you have a little bit of continuity, it certainly moves you up the board and the ladder in these kids eyes, and we’ve been able to have that, and sustain winning success.”
