Geneva (Ill.) Community four-star wide receiver Talyn Taylor continues to emerge as one of the best wide receivers in the 2025 cycle.

As he gears up for his senior season of high school football, the 6-foot-1, 165-pounder is lining up his spring visit plans as he continues to work through his recruitment. Earlier this week, Taylor told Rivals’ Adam Gorney he’s set visits to Georgia (March 23), Ohio State (March 30), Notre Dame (April 6) and Michigan (April 7).

Taylor has already taken several trips to Athens, South Bend and Ann Arbor. He has also been to Columbus as the quartet of high-profile programs continue to battle for his pledge. Around 25 Power Four programs have offered Taylor.

He is the No. 90 overall prospect and No. 11 wideout in the 2025 cycle, according to the 2025 On300. He is the No. 101 recruit in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Last summer, Taylor was one of On3’s top performers at the Overtime OT7 Finals. On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote this of the receiver as a prospect:

“While others received more targets over the course of the week, Tayln Taylor made his opportunities count and flashed high-end talent. In an event loaded with top 2025 receivers, Taylor looked to be among the best of the group. The Geneva (Ill.) Geneva Community product is a fluid, natural mover with a high level of coordination. Taylor had an outstanding toe-tapping touchdown grab on Sunday and found the end zone earlier, showing nice route-running ability and spatial awareness.”

Taylor on the Bulldogs, Fighting Irish and Wolverines

The rising playmaker has previously detailed his interest of some of the teams at the top of his recruitment entering the spring:

On Notre Dame to Blue and Gold: “My biggest takeaway was they definitely want me there, that’s for sure,” Taylor said. “They definitely see my skillset, how important it is and how they could use it in their program. I left there knowing that’s a place that can develop me.”

On Michigan to The Wolverine: “Michigan is one of the top teams in the nation and that is appealing,” Taylor said. “I am working on narrowing my choices down and attending official visits and making a decision before going into my senior season.”

On Georgia to DawgsHQ: “I love how much effort they put into every play and how relentless they are,” Taylor said. “It is obvious they are prepared and come together as a team. That is the type of team I want to be a part of. I want coaches who demand the best of me. I also want to know that everyone on the field is in it together and like-minded.”
