Metairie (LA) St. Martin’s Episcopal four-star running back Harlem Berry announced on Monday that he will be committing on Dec. 18, choosing between LSU, Texas and Florida.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is currently the No. 17 overall prospect and top-ranked RB in the 2025 cycle, per the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 1 player in Louisiana.

While both Texas and Florida have pushed for the elite burner, all signs are pointing towards the in-state Tigers, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

Multiple LSU and Texas recruiting insiders have logged RPM picks in favor of Brian Kelly and Co., giving LSU a 98.7% cushion to add another elite prospect to a 2025 class that could remain on pace to be one of the best in the nation this time next year.

Berry has made plenty of trips to Baton Rouge, three of which have come since the summer. His most recent trip came last weekend as the Tigers put up 52 points in an exciting win over Florida — one of Berry’s other finalists.

“I feel great about LSU. They definitely are up there on my list,” Berry told On3 in October. “The vibe there from the fans and the feeling that I get there stands out.”

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $124K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

LSU already owns Top-5 class in 2025 cycle

Kelly and the Tigers have already made their fair share of hay on the trail in the 2025 cycle. LSU’s junior class features five commits and ranks No. 4 in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

The pledge list is headlined by Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Dakorien Moore, the No. 4 overall prospect in the cycle. He’s flanked by a trio of in-state four-stars: Sulphur tight end JD LaFleur, New Orleans Isidore Newman interior offensive lineman Brett Bordelon and New Orleans Edna Kerr WR TaRon Francis. Loganville (Ga.) Grayson three-star cornerback Jaylen Bell rounds out the quintet of commits.

In addition to Berry, LSU is also currently trending in the RPM for Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2025 class. The Tigers could be in line for a massive haul on the recruiting trail.
