Dakorien Moore played a large role in Duncanville winning the 6A Division I state championship in 2022. After playing some as a freshman and cracking the starting lineup as a sophomore, Moore finished the 2022 season with 764 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He loves playing in big games and believes it makes him better. "My freshman year, I was making big plays, and my sophomore year, I was also making big plays, so I think that was the standard that I set coming into high school," Moore said. He opened the 2023 season with seven catches for 281 yards and three touchdowns against reigning Class 5A Division II state champion South Oak Cliff. Moore is also one of the top track-and-field stars in the Lone Star State. During his sophomore year with the Duncanville track team, Moore logged personal bests of 10.63 in the 100-meter dash and 21.38 in the 200-meter dash. He also competed in the state finals in the 4×100 relay.
