Since he committed to Notre Dame in November, Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean linebacker Drayk Bowen has been one of the Fighting Irish’s most vocal recruiters in the 2023 class. That’s especially the case as Notre Dame tries to lock in five-star quarterback Dante Moore.

Tuesday afternoon, Bowen made his social media pitch to the country’s No. 4 quarterback on Twitter.

“This is Family and the Fam is ready for you to make The Bend your home,” Bowen wrote while tagging Moore’s account. He also included a graphic featuring Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman, Moore, and Moore’s father, as well as all of the Fighting Irish’s current commitments in the 2023 class.

Notre Dame is the major favorite to land Moore, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Irish a 76.9 percent chance to secure his commitment, with Oregon, Florida and LSU trailing behind.

Moore is fresh off of recent visits to Ohio State and Notre Dame, and the multi-day trip to South Bend was a very impressive one.

“Major love,” Otha Moore, the father of Dante Moore, told On3’s Chad Simmons about the visit. “They showed a lot of love as they normally do. They’ve been big on him since day one when they offered. The energy was crazy.”

Among the activities for Dante and Otha during the visit were touring Notre Dame’s campus — which included some new sights for them — plus plenty of meetings with the staff and learning more about the school’s academics. The Moores were impressed by the Notre Dame student population and the resources that will be at Dante’s disposal.

“The one-on-one with you in education and their assets in academics is huge,” his father added. “It means a lot. To have the chance to even attend there is big. It gives me goosebumps. The genuineness and realness is there.”

Moore hasn’t scheduled any more upcoming visits this spring, but his father did say the Fighting Irish are almost certain to be an official visit destination.

Dante Moore Scouting Summary

“Pocket passer who is one of the more accurate and efficient quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. Skilled as a touch passer with the ability to layer throws and deliver with accuracy and nuance. Has a quick, natural release that aids in the short passing and RPO game. Shows a good arm both on video and in camp settings. Capable of hitting on deep shots off of play action. Put together a highly efficient and productive junior season in leading Martin Luther King to a state title while completing 73 percent of his passes for over 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns against three interceptions. Does not appear to be quite the athlete or run threat as some of the other top quarterbacks in the cycle at this time. Will need to continue improving his movement skills and foot quickness.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
