Drayk Bowen

Andrean coach Chris Skinner says Drayk Bowen is the complete package. “I think he possesses a rare combination of skills and talents,” Skinner told Irish Sports Daily. “Athletically, he's very gifted; very good two-sport athlete, really good baseball player as well. He's got a good range of flexibility. He's got good burst, strong. It's not just being athletic. It's been also building on top of that athleticism. You wouldn't necessarily see this watching the film, but he's very disciplined. He's a straight A-student, he's got above a 4.0 GPA and takes all honors and AP classes. He's very committed to diet and into working out to continue to improve his body. It all comes together into a pretty impressive package.” Bowen enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing video games when he’s not playing football. He plans on majoring on business in college. His parents are Rebecca McCollam and Jeremy Bowen. His siblings are Dylan and Dallas.

Elite / Top 100

Two-sport superstar for Indiana football and baseball state champion Andrean who’s violent in the box as a linebacker and as a running back. Totaled 105 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 3 sacks and 3 interceptions on defense. Carried the ball 155 times for 965 yards and 18 touchdowns on offense during his junior campaign. Downhill thumper that beats ball carriers to the spot. Excellent instincts and ability to trigger. Effective blitzer and spy player. Has some hip stiffness to him. Overall athleticism shines on tape but unverified long speed is the biggest question mark. Heady player who will anchor a defense at the next level. Top speed development will determine NFL potential. Middle infielder who is committed to play baseball at the next level along with football. One of the older players in the 2023 recruiting cycle.
