Folson (Calif.) four-star wide receiver Rico Flores has locked in his third and final official visit, and he’ll head to Ohio State later this month.

Flores tweeted Wednesday night that he’s locked in to see the Buckeyes on June 24-26.

Flores is the No. 172 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 28 wide receiver and the No. 12 player in the state of California.

The Buckeyes made his top three last month, joining Notre Dame and Georgia. The Fighting Irish are expected to host him this weekend for an official visit, and he’ll head to Georgia on June 17. Following his trip to Ohio State, he’ll make his commitment announcement on July 3.

Notre Dame is currently the leader to land Flores, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Irish a 96.9 percent chance to secure his commitment.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation. Flores currently holds four three expert predictions in favor of Notre Dame.
