Lole played high school football at Long Beach Poly High School in Long Beach, CA. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, he was listed as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class with a grade of 85. Lole was the nation’s No. 814 recruit, ranked 82 among defensive linemen, and was the No. 81-best player to come out of the state of California in his class.

Lole did not start his collegiate career in Louisville. Out of high school, he initially committed to playing for the Arizona State sun devils. The six foot two, 300-plus pound interior defensive lineman would make an immediate impact in the sun devils defensive line, playing in 10 games during his freshman season back in 2018. In 2019, Lole put the Pac-12 on notice with a dominant sophomore season, recording 71 total tackles, 29 solo, 10 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks in 13 games. Hey

While Lole’s first two collegiate seasons had him on a trajectory heading straight for the NFL. Sadly, the COVID shortened 2020 year along with a few unforeseen injuries in 2021 at Arizona State and 2022 following his transfer to Louisville, quickly derailed that vision. He would miss all but the first two games in his first year at Louisville. However, he did return this fall and posted 19 tackles with 1.5 sacks. He also forced a fumble and deflected a pair of passes.
