Portal Latest 12/12

Ole Miss wide receiver JJ Henry has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He just wrapped up his third season with the Rebels.

Henry appeared in three games this past year, hauling in just one reception for 11 yards against Mercer. That came after he had five receptions for 56 yards — as well as six carries for 30 rushing yards — as a redshirt freshman in 2022.

Henry is the second Ole Miss wide receiver to enter the transfer portal Tuesday and the 10th to do so during this cycle. Jeremiah Dillon also hit the open market Tuesday evening after two years with the program. He didn’t record a stat in 2023 after arriving on campus as a four-star recruit from the 2022 cycle.

JJ Henry played high school football at McKinney North (TX) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 436 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
