No one is safe from the Twitter fingers of Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin, not even his own players. Rebels tight end Caden Prieskorn and quarterback Jaxson Dart learned that Wednesday when Kiffin took a shot at them both via X.

The coach posted a screenshot of Prieskorn’s Instagram story in which he was looking for a pickleball partner. Apparently, he and Dart had lost to Kiffin and assistant receivers coach Sawyer Jordan earlier and Kiffin decided to poke some fun at them both for it.

“.⁦@cpkorn12⁩ This is so desperate!!” Kiffin wrote. “He and his partner @JaxsonDart can’t beat me and @CoachSJordan so he has ditched him and hit rock bottom Oxford.”

It seems like a rematch is due between Prieskorn and Kiffin, whether Dart returns as his partner or he finds a new one. We’ll have to wait and see if he comes back with a response for his coach.

Prieskorn is getting ready to enter his second season in Oxford after transferring from Memphis ahead of 2023. He appeared in 10 games to finish with 30 catches for 449 yards and four touchdowns.

Ole Miss is also set to return leading receiver Tre Harris as well as Jordan Watkins, so Dart should have plenty of weapons at his disposal. That has many predicting them as a contender to make the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff.

If they get there, the connection between Dart and Prieskorn will be a big part of why. Let’s just hope they find a little more success on the football field than they supposedly did on the pickleball court.

Caden Prieskorn ranks among top returning tight ends in college football

There is no secret about the Ole Miss football team having a really good offense in 2023 and set to be just as good, if not better, in 2024.

More evidence to this is the fact more players on the offensive side of the ball continue to be named as one of the top 10 returners at their respective position by Pro Football Focus.

Wednesday saw this continue as the PFF series provided its list for tight ends and Caden Preiskorn landed at No. 7. He is the third Ole Miss player to make these lists with Jaxson Dart and Tre Harris landing at No. 6 in the quarterback and wide receiver lists, respectfully.

Prieskorn missed the first three games of the season due to a toe injury and did not make his Ole Miss debut until the Alabama game. Despite that he finished with nearly 450 receiving yards to go with is four touchdown catches and was the fourth best receiver Ole Miss had.
