Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, according to a statement released on his Instagram.

Milton stepped in as the starter this year after Hendon Hooker went to the NFL following a tremendous 2022 campaign. While the Volunteers didn’t reach the same level of success, Milton was solid during his time in Knoxville.

His statement can be read below.

This season, Milton finished with 2,813 yards, 20 touchdowns, five interceptions and a 64.7% completion percentage. In three years at Tennessee, Milton had 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, five interceptions and a 63.1% completion percentage.

Milton started his career at Michigan before transferring. He played for the Wolverines from 2018-20 as a backup and eventual starter during the COVID-19 season.

As a member of the Class of 2018, Milton was a four-star recruit out of Orlando (Fla.) Olympia, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 42 overall prospect in the state, the No. 17 quarterback in the class and the No. 242 overall prospect in the class.
