No. 1 recruit Arch Manning to early enroll at Texas

New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning will be an early enrollee at Texas.

The plan to do so has been in place for months, On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman reports.

Manning is the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

For the 2022 season, Manning is 101 of 160 for 1,536 yards and 26 touchdowns without an interception.

The 2023 Longhorns recruiting class has 21 commits and ranks seventh in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Manning is one of two five-star commits along with New Iberia (La.) Westgate five-star safety Derek Williams.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $3.4 million. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
