The Texas Longhorns 2023 recruiting class continues to put together standout performances on a weekly basis.

This week it was Arch Manning continuing to own the Isidore Newman record books, and future target Ryan Niblett with a career best performance.

Arch Manning owns every passing record at Isidore Newman

Senior night at Isidore Newman produced more Arch Manning passing records, and he now owns them all. The No. 1 ranked prospect in the On3 Consensus threw four touchdowns in the Greenies 31-14 win over Country Day setting a new school record for total touchdowns at 129.

Manning hit on 16 of 20 passes for 258 yards to go along with the four touchdowns tosses.

Manning has now connected on 101 of 160 passes for 1,536 yards and 26 touchdowns without an interception through seven games.

Ryan Niblett dominant in district win

On3 Consensus 4-star wide receiver and Texas commitment Ryan Niblett put together the best game of his career Thursday night in a 46-17 win over Aldine Davis. The No. 75 ranked prospect in the On3 Consensus caught 10 passes for 278 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 56 yards on two carries and a score in the victory.

Niblett showed his entire skill set, which includes the ability to accelerate and race past defenders. Two of his scores were 62 and 71 yards.

Aldine Eisenhower head coach Eric Jackson told the Houston Chronicle his star player is indeed rare.

“(Niblett) is an unbelievable athlete, but he’s a better kid and student-athlete than a football player,” Jackson said. “He’s an incredible kid and he has a heck of a future. I’ve never seen a kid with explosiveness, quickness, and speed like him.”

Niblett’s night also included being named Homecoming King.

The win keeps the Eagles in the playoff picture. Eisenhower is 3-5 and 3-2 in district play with two games remaining.
