Texas has landed its guy.

After years of recruiting and relationship-building, the Longhorns have landed New Orleans Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning.

Manning is one of the most notable prospects in recent memory. The latest star of the Manning quarterback dynasty is the unanimous No. 1 player in the 2023 class, according to the Industry Comparison Tool.

With his commitment, the Longhorns have jumped into the top 10 of the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking and now sit at No. 7.

Manning is the eighth commit in the 2023 recruiting class. He joins Houston Aldine Eisenhower four-star wide receiver Ryan Niblett, DeSoto (Texas) four-star running back Tre Wisner, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei three-star tight end Spencer Shannon and his high school teammate Will Randle as the recruits on the offensive side of the ball.

Arlington (Texas) four-star Seguin safety Jamel Johnson, Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley four-star linebacker S’Maje Burrell and Houston C.E. King four-star defensive lineman Dylan Spencer are the defensive commits.

Niblett is the second-highest ranked recruit in the class at No. 70 overall in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
