USC wide receiver Michael Jackson III has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. Jackson spent three seasons with the program but is now looking to finish out his college career elsewhere.

During his time in Los Angeles, Jackson played in 24 games, catching 46 passes for 498 yards and five touchdowns. The past two years have been spent under Lincoln Riley, while Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams was back there distributing the ball.

With USC being rich in the skill position player department, Jackson could be looking for greater playing time elsewhere. Whichever school can grab him out of the portal, they will be getting a nice complimentary piece for their offense. Some production mixed with untapped potential is always a positive.

Jackson played high school football at Las Vegas (NV) Desert Pines, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 383 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
