Colin Hurley shows arm talent at Elite 11 Finals

Charles Power

Colin Hurley showed easy arm strength at the Elite 11 Finals. Hurley is a powerful, compactly built passer and uses his strong base and loose arm to drive the ball with no strain. The LSU pledge was a Top Performer on each day of the event for On3. He flashed the pure arm talent to make all of the throws to every level of the field. We thought he got progressively better over the course of the week, as well. Hurley built on a good pro day session on Day 2 with one of the better 7-on-7 showings. He completed 13 of 17 passes for 4 touchdowns, taking advantage of a few busted coverages in the secondary. Hurley plays with a deliberate, unbothered pace that may seem a bit slow at times. He’ll need to continue improving his footwork and overall movement skills as he progresses into his senior season, but the arm talent is not in question.

The talented 2025 passer from Jacksonville, Fla., turned in a stellar performance and regardless of age, shined as one of the better quarterbacks in attendance. Hurley kept his eyes glued downfield and made smart decisions with the ability to deal all over the field with timing and anticipation. He was dealing throughout Thursday.

Colin Hurley flashes strong arm at LSU's camp

Charles Power

Colin Hurley made a case as the top quarterback on Thursday at LSU's camp, regardless of class. The 2025 prospect has a quick release and showed the ability to drive the ball with velocity to all levels. Hurley is very polished and developed for a rising sophomore. He as a compact build at around 6-foot-0.5, 210 pounds. This was our second time seeing Hurley live in as many weeks. The ball certainly pops out of his hand.

Colin Hurley top performer Battle New Orleans

Sam SpiegelmanNational Recruiting Analyst

Quarterbacks raely steal the show in these sort of settings, but 2025 Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity passer Colin Hurley did just that en route to a championship for 24K. At 15 years old, Hurley has an advanced understanding of the game and how to attack defenses. Equally as impressive is his physical skill-set to make it a reality. Hurley was nearly flawless for consecutive days in New Orleans exhibiting pump fakes, freezing safeties and designed rollouts to showcase his vast array of tools. The Class of 2025 quarterback has the calmness and coolness commanding an offense of any upperclassmen.
