Reminds Us Of

Dante Moore’s quick release, accuracy feel as a passer and build reminds us of Tua Tagovailoa. Moore is around an inch taller than Tagovailoa and a more efficient high school passer at the same stage. Tagovailoa was more of a run threat and showed more mobility as a high school prospect.
Team Predictions
Scouting Report
Pure pocket passer who is one of the more accurate and efficient quarterbacks in the deep 2023 cycle. Checks in at under 6-foot-2 and around 205 pounds with a hand size around 9.5 inches. Skilled as a touch passer with the ability to layer throws and deliver with accuracy and nuance. Has a quick, natural release that aids in the short passing and RPO game. Shows a good arm both on video and in multiple neutral settings - camps, 7-on-7's and all-star games. Capable of hitting on deep shots off of play action. Emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the cycle as a freshman in high school. Put together a highly efficient and productive junior season in leading Martin Luther King to a state title while completing 73 percent of his passes for over 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns against three interceptions. Was not quite as productive as a senior but still led MLK to another state title. Capped off his high school career with an MVP showing at the All-American Bowl, completing 14 of 19 passes for 156 yards and four touchdowns. Does not appear to be quite the athlete or run threat as some of the other top quarterbacks in the cycle at this time. Will need to continue improving his movement skills and foot quickness to maximize his long-term upside.
