Ivan Taylor is the son of former NFL cornerback and two-time Super Bowl champion Ike Taylor. It didn't take the former Pittsburgh Steeler long to realize his son has a chance to be a special football player. "I found out he was different when he got hit on the sideline when he was eight years old," Ike Taylor told Sports Illustrated. "He was playing running back. I told him that somebody was going to knock the wind out of him one time but you just have to suck it up. You have to breathe deep and get back in the game. He was kind of in and out on getting himself back in the game, but within four to five plays, he went back in and just took off." According to Ivan, his work ethic and humble nature sets him apart from other prospects. He said he “definitely" got his father's instincts on the field and willingness to outwork people. While Taylor is very appreciative for his father's insight and guidance, he said he also wants to “make a big name for myself” and win "Super Bowl rings,too."
