That form includes being named the 2021 Big Ten Attacker of the Year, first-team All-Big Ten and Big Ten Tournament MVP in 2021. She also earned five Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors for performances against Ohio State, John's Hopkins, Rutgers, Maryland and Ohio State. In 2020, Scane started all of the games in COVID-19 shortened season and earned Inside Lacrosse’s second-team All-America honors. In 2019, she was the Big Ten’s Freshman of the Year and an all-league pick. Her parents are Joseph and Patricia Scane. Her father wrestled at Grand Valley State, while her mother ran track at Grand Valley State.
